Blocchi Sandbar, up close.

Sand with a sheen: Blocchi Sandbar is a gloss rectangle, 60 x 246 mm, in a warm sand-tan. Darker, mottled patches gather in the surface and show wherever light skims across it, which gives a laid wall depth.

Set it on a feature wall or a bathroom wall beside warm timber and brass. Mapei Sand in the grout line sits close to invisible, so the colour runs on unbroken. Made in Italy, and meant for walls.

Laying notes

Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
