Blocchi Saltpan, up close.

Light runs across Blocchi Saltpan in soft ripples, and each piece throws it back its own way. This gloss rectangle, 60 x 246 mm, comes in a creamy off-white, so a laid wall shifts with every hour of the day.

Made in Italy for walls, it suits a splashback or a bathroom wall. Lay it in a running bond with Mapei Caribbean and the grout line sits close to invisible, so the cream reads as one continuous surface.

Laying notes

Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
