Quandong Sandbar, up close.
Quandong Sandbar sits between beige and soft grey, close to damp sand at low tide. The gloss ceramic rectangle, 65 x 200 mm and 8.3 mm thick, carries pale shifts of tone that vary between pieces.
On a bathroom wall or a splashback it works beside deep green cabinetry, brass taps and pale timber. Mapei Ancient White makes the grout line almost invisible, so the wall stays calm. Made in Italy.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
