Quandong Pink Heath, up close.

Quandong Pink Heath is a warm blush that leans toward salmon, with darker and lighter patches moving across each piece. This gloss ceramic rectangle measures 65 x 200 mm and is 8.3 mm thick, and a wall of it holds a soft, shifting flush.

Pale timber and a little brass sit well beside it on a bathroom wall, and it can hold a feature wall in a room that already runs warm. Keep the grout close to the tile for a soft, even field. Made in Italy.

Nearest Mapei colour

189 Spelt

Mapei Ultracolor Plus, for joints up to 20 mm.

Mapei makes no colour close to this glaze. This one sits nearest in depth, so the joint reads as a shadow line.

Next closest: 141 Caramel

Measured from the tile photo against Mapei's colour chart and checked against the photo. Screens show colour differently, so check the grout against a real tile before you buy. Mapei colour chart

Laying notes

Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
