Kurrajong Sandbar, up close.
Specks of rust brown dot the warm sand face of Kurrajong Sandbar, a gloss porcelain rectangle, 50 x 150 mm. Rated V3 for shade variation, the pieces differ in depth, with creamy patches where the gloss pools.
Set it in Mapei Almond and the grout line nearly disappears, so the specks take centre stage. Lay it in a brick bond or stand it upright, and keep white joinery nearby so the sand looks warmer still.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
