The tile, face on · 100×100 mm · MattBrigalow Thunderhead, up close.
Up close, the mid grey of Brigalow Thunderhead breaks into pinhole flecks and soft patches. It is a matt porcelain square, 100 x 100 mm, and its handmade look, irregular edges and strong shade variation give the grid a worn, lived-in feel.
Made in Spain as a wall tile, it suits a feature wall or a laundry wall. Mapei Linen is a close match in the grout line and softens the grid, so the flecked surface stays in front.

Laying notes
Glaze and edge vary from tile to tile, so mix tiles from across your order as you lay. Give them a relaxed joint, around 3 mm, and match the grout to the glaze: bright white grout picks out every edge.
