Warm grey with a trace of brown runs through Tarwin Pebble, a matt porcelain square, 100 x 100 mm and 10 mm thick. The tone holds across the pieces, and with no shine on the surface the grey stays soft and stony.
Made in Italy, it suits walls and floors, and the slip rating is R9. In the kitchen render it backs a brass tap over dark burr-timber cabinets, and with Mapei Medium Grey the grout line nearly disappears.
