Tarwin Ochre, up close.
Tarwin Ochre keeps its clay orange warm and even across a matt porcelain square, 100 x 100 mm and 10 mm thick. In the daylight renders it reads lighter and pinker, a little like garden pots in the sun.
Use it on walls or floors: it has an R9 slip rating and is made in Italy. The renders set it behind a dining nook and across a kitchen wall. Mapei Liquorice is the near match here, and it hides the grid inside the orange.

Laying notes
Keep joints even, around 3 mm, and match the grout to the glaze: bright white grout picks out every edge. Lay a dry row first to plan your cuts.
Order the full quantity at once
Shade can shift from one production batch to the next, so order your whole quantity, plus the allowance for cuts, in one go.
