Waratah Whitecap Bevelled, up close.
A wider tile means fewer grout lines. Waratah Whitecap in matt is a bevelled subway tile in white, 100 x 300 mm and 7.5 mm thick. Each bevel keeps a soft shadow along its edge, so the wall looks calm and evenly drawn.
Pictured on ensuite, kitchen and laundry walls. Offset the rows in brickbond and add Mapei Manhattan 2000, which reads as a near invisible line and leaves the bevels as the quiet detail.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
