The tile, face on · 75×300 mm · MattDaintree Cumulus, up close.
Daintree Cumulus is a matt white rectangle, 75 x 300 mm, with edges that round over like a cushion. The face has little shine and is rated V3 for shade variation, and each rounded edge leaves a soft shadow line once the wall is laid.
A brick bond on a bathroom wall or around a niche shows the rounded edges off. Mapei Silver Grey sits so close to the white that the grout line fades back. It is made in Spain.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
