Tarkine Spindrift Matt keeps things clean: a ceramic rectangle, 75 x 300 mm and 8 mm thick, in white with a faint tonal shift across the face. The rectified, square edges give each tile a sharp outline on the wall.
A wall tile made in Spain, it suits a kitchen splashback, a bathroom wall or a laundry wall. Run it horizontally in a half-step stagger and add Mapei Silver Grey, so the grout lines almost disappear.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
