Tarwin Thunder, up close.
Light moves slowly across Tarwin Thunder. The matt porcelain rectangle, 50 x 150 mm and 10 mm thick, has a smoky, low-key tone and a smooth face with faint shifts, so a full wall looks moody without any gloss to chase the eye.
It suits walls and floors and carries an R9 rating. Run it up a wall in tall stacks. Set it with Mapei Cement Grey, which keeps the grout lines near invisible, and add pale stone and brass so the tone has something to push against.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
