Light lands in patches on Scatto Creek Stone. It is a pale grey gloss rectangle, 75 x 150 mm, and the handmade look shows twice: in bright reflections that gather across the face, and in an outline that wavers a little.
It is a 7 mm ceramic made in Italy for walls, and a bathroom wall suits it. Pair it with timber and a natural fibre rug, and use Mapei Medium Grey, a close match, to keep the grid soft.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
