Fine white veins thread through some pieces of Saltbush Starlit Marble and skip others. It is a honed hexagon mosaic in black natural stone, 25 x 25 mm and 10 mm thick, and the sheet reads like a night sky with a few bright streaks.
Lay it in a tight honeycomb and grout it in Mapei Black, and the grout lines nearly disappear, leaving the white veining as the only detail. Keep what sits around it pale and quiet so the small black hexagons stay in focus.
