Matt takes the shine out of Bluegum Obsidian, a black penny round mosaic on a 305 x 322 mm sheet. Each disc still has a cushion edge, which shows as a faint rim of shadow, so a wall of it has relief and a velvety depth with little glare.
Use it as a splashback beside dark cabinetry or on a feature wall. Warm timber and brass sit well against the soft black, and the matt face keeps reflections low.
