In its polished finish, Risotto Sandbar slims down to a cream rectangle, 50 x 150 mm, with a faint blush running through the colour. Each tile carries its own slight shift of tone, so a laid wall has a soft, layered look.
A porcelain wall tile, 10 mm thick and made in Italy, it suits a bathroom wall. Stack it in tight vertical columns as pictured, and Mapei Ancient White, a close match, keeps the lines delicate.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
