Kurrajong Seagrass, up close.
Light does the work on Kurrajong Seagrass, a gloss green rectangle, 50 x 150 mm. The pale, cool green carries a dimpled ripple, and the highlights break into bright glints that move as you walk past.
Made in Spain in porcelain, 9 mm thick, it reads bolder in brick bond at 50 mm wide, with fewer lines for the eye to follow. Brass taps and pale timber warm the cool green.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
