Bella Lichen is green with a good deal of grey in it, a pale gloss square, 100 x 100 mm, with a handmade look. Some pieces run cooler and some warmer, and the irregular edges bend the light into soft ripples across the grid.
It is a wall tile made in Italy, and it sits well on a bathroom wall or around a niche, close to a window where the ripples show. A grid layout keeps the green calm and lets the shade variation do the quiet work.

Laying notes
Glaze and edge vary from tile to tile, so mix tiles from across your order as you lay. Give them a relaxed joint, around 3 mm, and match the grout to the glaze: bright white grout picks out every edge.
