Light does most of the work on Luna Shallows, a pale mint green gloss in 100 x 100 mm porcelain squares, 10 mm thick. The surface is mottled, deeper in some spots, and the irregular edges and handmade look stop a big wall going flat.
A wall is the place for it. Made in Italy, it sits well in a tight grid, and Mapei Sage is close enough to soften the grout line. A timber shelf adds warmth.

Laying notes
Glaze and edge vary from tile to tile, so mix tiles from across your order as you lay. Give them a relaxed joint, around 3 mm, and match the grout to the glaze: bright white grout picks out every edge.
