Yackandandah Blue Haze is a matt porcelain subway, 50 x 200 mm, in a soft grey-blue. Each piece shifts a little in tone, and darker lines trace the edges, so the wall has depth up close and settles into a haze at a distance.
A wall tile made in Italy, 10 mm thick. Stand the slim strips upright and they hold themselves like a kangaroo on the lookout, a good fit for a feature wall. Mapei Arctic Grey sits near invisible against the blue.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
