Riberry Flint, up close.
Riberry Flint stops a step short of black. Up close, the gloss gives up a warm grey undertone wherever light crosses it. It is a rectangle, 75 x 150 mm, with a handmade look and an irregular edge.
Put it on a bathroom wall beside a timber vanity. It is made in Italy for walls, and Mapei Volcano Sand sits so close to the tile that the grout line drops away, which keeps the wall one dark plane.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
