Sand and cream meet in Lava Sandplain, a matt neutral rectangle, 65 x 200 mm, with a handmade look. The colour sits in mottled washes, a little deeper on some pieces, and the edges are slightly irregular, so a finished wall reads soft and unforced.
Start with a bathroom wall, a splashback or a niche. Lay it in brick bond with Mapei Ancient White and the grout line goes near invisible. Add a cane basket and a potted fig. The Tile Zoo kangaroo would blend right in.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
