Close to ink in places, Lava Deep Swell is a matt blue rectangle, 65 x 200 mm, with a handmade look. Some pieces sit a shade lighter, the edges are a touch uneven, and the soft face gives reflections little to land on.
A colour this deep suits a bathroom wall or a feature wall. It is made in Spain. Run it up one full wall in brick bond, then bring in warm timber and brass to take the chill off the blue.
