Karri Whitecap lines up matt white chevrons in glass, 60 x 120 mm. The white stays even, and with little shine to compete, light crossing the wall picks out the shadow line between each row.
A splashback or a feature wall beside a window shows it best. Mapei Manhattan 2000 sits close to the white, so the grout lines stay quiet and the chevron stays the story.

Laying notes
Keep a 2 to 3 mm joint and hold the same gap between sheets so the seams disappear. Lay a dry run first, and set out from the centre of the wall so the cut pieces at each edge match.
Order the full quantity at once
Shade can shift from one production batch to the next, so order your whole quantity, plus the allowance for cuts, in one go.
