At only 9.5 mm wide, Hawkesbury Bark turns a sheet into texture. It is a satin finger, 9.5 x 47 mm, dark brown with a bronze cast and fine lines through each piece, like worn metal.
It comes on a 300 x 300 mm sheet for walls: a splashback, a niche or a feature wall. Mapei Ultracolor Plus Volcano Sand leaves the grout near invisible. Close-set and dark, it has the neat order of an echidna's quills.
