Subway is the kangaroo format, and at 100 x 300 mm Scatto Boulder takes a big stride. This satin rectangle is a warm mid grey with soft, brushed movement, and its handmade look shows in an irregular edge.
Made in Italy for walls, it suits a bathroom wall with a round mirror hung on it. Lay it in brick bond with Mapei Cement Grey and the grout line nearly vanishes, while the big format keeps the wall calm.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
