Risotto Sandbar Pleat is a soft cream gloss rectangle, 75 x 200 mm, ruled with fine parallel ribs. Window light catches each rib as a thin bright line and leaves a soft shade beside it, so the wall looks gently folded, like cloth.
Ceramic, 10 mm thick and made in Italy, it suits a splashback or a bathroom wall. Stand the tiles on end in a running bond with Mapei Manhattan 2000, which all but erases the grout lines, and the ribs carry the whole effect.
