Melaleuca Eucalypt, up close.
Light slides along the surface of Melaleuca Eucalypt, a ceramic rectangle in soft green gloss, 75 x 300 mm and 8 mm thick. The shine ripples slightly across each piece, so reflections bend as they cross it.
Brick bond is its pattern, across a bathroom wall or a splashback. Grout close to the tile keeps the wall calm, while a darker grout outlines every rectangle. Made in Spain.
Specified properly.

Mapei makes no colour close to this glaze. This one sits nearest in depth, so the joint reads as a shadow line.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
