In side light, Marri White Cliffs Textured shows its ridges. This is a matt white ceramic square, 163 x 163 mm, marked with fine horizontal lines, and the relief stays gentle enough to read as texture on a quiet wall.
Lay it edge to edge on a bathroom wall or splashback with Mapei Manhattan 2000, which nearly hides the grout line, and the ridges become the only pattern. The large square keeps the grout lines few.
