Banksia Bush Plum is a matt subway tile, 75 x 300 mm, in natural stone. The red runs deep and a little brown, and pale veins branch across it, so the rows never repeat themselves.
It is a wall tile, so a bathroom wall, a feature wall or a splashback all work. Mapei Volcano Sand sits close to the stone's red-brown and keeps the grout lines warm and soft between the rows.

Laying notes
Half offset (running bond) is the classic. A one-third offset suits longer tiles and softer finishes, a straight stack reads modern, and a vertical stack lifts the eye. A contrasting grout makes herringbone graphic.
